My name is Kari and I have been in the automotive industry for ten years. I have a B.S. in business administration with majors in marketing and finance. I am also a member of the Women's Automotive Association International.

Throughout the years there has been an increase in women buying vehicles. As a matter of fact, 50% of new cars and 48% of used cars are purchased by women with 80% of the buying decisions being influenced by women. However, a large majority of women still feel uncomfortable, as well as intimidated, when dealing in the “Automotive Arena”. Not only is this a concern with women purchasing a vehicle, it occurs in the service department as well. Interesting enough, women represent over two-thirds of the service customers.

My goal is to empower women in the “Automotive Marketplace” with advice on purchasing vehicles, car care, car safety, and other automotive concerns on questions with compassion and integrity.
